The Color Suite at Basher Films Pasadena Office is a high performance workstation fully calibrated and outfitted with all the tools and controls needed for a fully professional film or video color correction session and online edit. Utilizing the latest Davinci Resolve hardware and software, as well as additional software and hardware from both Apple, AVID, Adobe, and Blackmagic, the suite provides multiple solutions for 4K, 2K, HD, Cineon, DPX, or Quicktime finishing. With an integrated RAID 5 Serial Attached SCSI array with sustained transfer speeds of over 500mb/s Basher Films is able to deliver fully UNCOMPRESSED workflows for clients preparing for broadcast or print delivery. We're also proud to announce our new 50" THX certified client display which gives us the ability to show your project at full 1080P on a larger viewing platform to further check images for artificating, compression, and image noise.
Precise color accurate monitoring is essential for proper finishing and reference grading. Basher Films uses the Flanders Scientific 24” LM-2450 Grade 1 LCD Panel for all of its online and coloring projects. The LM-2450 can monitor both true 1080P HD as well as full 2K in true REC 709 and DCI-P3 color spaces. When you finish a project at the Basher Films suite we guarantee that “what you see is what you get”, as we make sure that our monitors are constantly recalibrated and our viewing environment is always tuned for optimal contrast and color reproduction at all times. We may be small, but we guarantee that all of our critical monitoring is precise and accurate ensuring that your project looks the way its supposed to before you leave. Our suite also features complete blackout solutions for color timing day or night as well as high fidelity active stereo audio monitor speakers.
The color suite is located at the Basher Films office in beautiful Pasadena, CA at the 456 Lofts live/work complex on the corner of Orange Grove Blvd and Los Robles.
